Our Story & Vision
Connecting Nepali-speaking Christian leaders across the globe to build healthy, vibrant churches.
A Global Network of Faith
The Global Nepali Speaking Christian Fellowship (GNSCF) is a network ministry among Nepali-speaking churches and pastors in the USA and beyond. As the Nepali Christian diaspora expands, there is a need for a platform where the scattered diaspora of Nepali-speaking Christian leaders come together for fellowship and mutual encouragement.
GNSCF seeks to build a bridge to connect Nepali-speaking churches/leaders around the globe, providing a platform of fellowship to encourage and equip these leaders and facilitate use of available and potential resources.
How it all began?
A journey from migration to global fellowship
Origins
A significant number of Nepali-speaking people live in neighboring countries like Bhutan, India, and Burma. In the 1990s, Nepali-ethnic Bhutanese were expelled and lived in refugee camps in Eastern Nepal for about 20 years.
July 4, 2011 - The BNCA
Bhutanese Nepali Churches of America (BNCA) was established in the USA as refugees were resettled globally in countries like Canada, Australia, and Norway.
January 2016 - GNSCF Birth
Recognizing the need for a global platform to connect church leaders, GNSCF was birthed to bridge the entire Nepali-speaking diaspora.
2017 & 2019 Conferences
Major conferences in Siliguri (2017) and Kathmandu (2019) brought together over 1000 leaders from 20 countries worldwide.
